Parks and protected areas

In the Bialowieza National Park, Poland, the ancient Bialowieza Forest is the only place where wild bison and horses managed to survive in Europe. Currently, the Bialowieza Forest extends across the border between Poland and Belarus, with a national park on each side. To see wild horses and bison in Poland, it is necessary to hire guide services.

Stray cats and dogs

In this country, tourists can see many stray cats and dogs that pervade the city streets and can pose danger to the health of both people and other animals. The only solution to this type of problem would be sterilizing the animals, but although several non-governmental organizations are already working in this direction, it is essential that local governments support permanent campaigns for the situation to be resolved. Unfortunately, in most cases, both local administrations and those of other tourist destinations affected by the same problem prefer to kill as many animals as possible. This solution is not only cruel, but also ineffective, since it does not eradicate the main problem - uncontrolled reproduction of dogs and cats - and at the same time it contributes to greater growth of their population, since the remaining animals have access to more resources and reproduce faster.
