Dolphinariums

Thousands of dolphins live in captivity in at least 250 dolphinariums around the world together with other cetaceans such as killer whales and beluga whales. Scientific studies have proven that these intelligent animals suffer greatly in the limited conditions of a dolphinarium and that stress levels and mortality are very high.

The training of these animals for circus shows where they perform completely unnatural behavior, which can even harm them physically, is achieved by keeping the animals in a permanent state of hunger to act in exchange for a piece of dead fish.

Cursed by their facial expression which reminds us of a smile, these highly social animals, which in nature would swim long distances and submerge into the depths of the ocean, are used to perform stunts in small cement tanks. Many of the specimens are torn away from their natural habitat.
