Appalachian Bear Rescue is a rehabilitation center for black bears located just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The primary goal of the center is to assist and rehabilitate the bears so that they can eventually be reintroduced to their natural habitat. ABR has an important educational offer which includes the "Tabling Events", or the "K-8 Educational Programs".
